Introducing My New Art Store

hydrangeas watercolor painted by Sami

Hi Again!

I am so excited! I’m like the energizer bunny that just keeps going! I am learning resilience, not return and this is a new chapter in my life. Continuing my art but in new ways. Choosing the new me after the traumatic brain injury. I am so excited to be painting again. I’ve been hard at work setting up my new art gallery store this past month.  It’s been a lot of early mornings and late nights to get the look I wanted, but I’m really proud of the results. My shop focuses on nature in places, animals (cats, dogs, horses, miniature donkeys), flowers, and wildlife including my favorites, wolves. I have added some adorable miniature donkey ink sketches and new photography. I am also working on two commissions, one, an adorable set of dogs and the other a portrait of a beautiful horse.

Below are some of my favorite images in my shop.

Enjoy!

P.S. I don’t have sales often, but I have a big one planned for Black Friday. Stay tuned for more details!

Wallace the Golden Doodle

I met Wallace on my first trip to the Rockland, Maine area. He has a personality to match his name. The next year I took Brandy, my young doodle to meet Wallace. It was a comical adventure with Wallace roaring his delight and my shy baby trying to hide. I will be adding some other pictures from my doodle adventures later.

Starting price: $37.33

Available on stretched canvas, acrylic, aluminum, and fine art paper.

Wolves

Wolves

I was trying to decide what paintings to bring to my blog this week and it became really clear while I was helping mykeeley daughter move her business into her new offices on Wolf Ledges Parkway in Akron. If anyone knows the background of the name Wolf Ledges Parkway, I would love to know what it is. Loving wolves, it was a perfect name for her new location and it  made me think of all the wonderful photo shoots I have had at Wolf Timbers in Bolivar Ohio.  I hope you enjoy.

The featured painting is a watercolor and ink painting of Nira, Keeley, and Ingo. Every line was inked in first and then it was painted using a watercolor medium. This painting took me 6 months to paint and I loved every minute of it. The 5-6 photos that I used to paint this from were from the first photo shoot that I had at Wolf Timbers. On my About Me page, you will see a picture of me being face kissed by Nira as I am holding my breath and being very still. Being face kissed is actually a great honor but the first time is especially awesome.  Continue Reading…
